Marine-Grade Epoxy Resin

The YED 1096 SEMM Resin Patch Set is a class-approved, two-component epoxy repair system designed for emergency pipe and equipment repairs at sea. When welding or hot work is not an option, this kit allows crew members to carry out fast, reliable temporary repairs — keeping critical systems operational until the vessel reaches port. The system consists of a stabilizer-filled putty resin and hardener (810g + 140g), activated by simple mixing with a working time of approximately 30 minutes. Once cured, the repair withstands temperatures up to 180°C, pressure up to 30 bar, and delivers up to 10 years of UV resistance. The flexible, crack-resistant structure handles vibration without degrading — making it suitable not only as a repair solution but also as a high-performance protective coating and primer layer on high-stress components. Compatible with steel, cast iron, copper, stainless steel, ABS, polycarbonate, polyurethane, and selected composite surfaces. Applicable in wet and humid marine environments without surface drying.
